Facebook is built on the idea of identifying your social network by allowing you to add “friends” to a list of those who can see your status. Sometimes those friends say no, and while it’s only an online tool, it is interesting that being told “no” stings almost as much as in real life.

Getting The Word Out

Sharing your faith with a friend is a scary thing to many people.  We don’t want to be wrong.  We don’t want to be weird either.  But it doesn’t have to be scary.  It can and should be a natural thing.  When outreach becomes social it becomes natural.

It is critically important to remember the goal of sharing our faith and our role in sharing our faith.  When we remember the goal and remember our role, our fear shrinks and we have the opportunity to be consistent and bold in social networking.
